HOTC Dog Fair 2010 Recap

The 2010 HOTC Dog Fair was a great day for people and dogs alike.  The rain didn't dampen the spirits of the hundreds of attendees and their dogs who came out to enjoy the day.  Paws and tails might have been damp, but the doggy enthusiasm certainly wasn't.  After watching experienced dogs complete the courses in Rally Obedience and Agility demonstrations, attendees tried these activities with their own dogs under the guidance of trained volunteers.   Kids had a great time winning prizes at exciting games and competing with their dogs in the Dog Show for Kids.  Throughout the day, the Parade of Breeds gave the audience an opportunity to show their dogs and learn about a wide variety of different breeds.  If you were looking for a canine companion, the animal shelters and rescue organizations brought many dogs hoping to find lasting homes.  Vendors offered a range of merchandise and services, and microchipping was available for a low fee.  A huge number of dog toys, treats, and door prizes were given away to attendees and their dogs.  The 2010 HOTC Dog Fair was a lot of fun, and the 2011 HOTC Dog Fair will be even better.
