Kids and dogs are an awesome combination, and we've got a number of activities specifically designed for the younger set.
2011 Public Participation
Games at 9:15 and 1:30 - Who can resist great games like 'Ring around the Doggie', 'Barking Contest', 'Water Bowl Relay' and more.
Doggy Dress-Up at 10:00 and 1:00 - Ever wonder what your dog would look like dressed in frills and a bonnet?
Now's your chance to find out.
Come dress 'em up, then parade them around the ring in the Beauty Walk.
Pictures will be taken and posted on the net. Check this website after the Dog Fair for a link to the pictures.

Dog Show for Kids at 11:30 and 12:30 - If you're a kid, bring your dog and compete in HOTC's version of the Westminister Dog Show.
It's not only fun, but you'll get a prestigious ribbon, a cool toy, and a winner's circle picture of you and your dog.
The Dog Show for Kids will be divided into two groups. Kids 9 years old and under will show their dogs beginning at 11:30 and kids 10 years and older will show at 12:00.
After the Dog Fair a link to pictures taken during the Dog Show for Kids will be posted here.
Skits for Kids
at 12:30 in the Freestyle Obedience Ring - Come watch some very special Freestyle skits created especially for kids.
Simple lessons on topics like bathing your dog take on a whole new flavor when done to music by handlers and their dancing dogs.
You'll not only have a great time watching, but prizes will be given to the young spectators.
